Programs:

We have a variety of programs or itineraries to choose from. Having carefully prepared programs to fit any kind of rider, from the average street rider to the weekend off-road warrior, we cover a broad range of riding alternatives. To see all the programs and itineraries we offer, use the overview charts. Check the “long term tour overview chart” to choose from 7 or more days long tours in Peru, and use the “short term tour overview chart”  to choose from 1 to 3 day long tours near Lima. As you will notice there is much to choose from, so the first thing to do is to select the program that is most adequate for what you are looking for. Using the following criteria will make the program selection very simple:

Type of terrain: You must first decide what kind of terrain conditions you want to ride on. We have divided the terrain conditions in 3 categories: "Asphalt", if you want to ride mostly over asphalt roads with a minor percentage of dirt/gravel roads; "Mixed", if you want to add a little more dirt/gravel roads to the "Asphalt" category, plus, combine this with a little non-highly-technical off-road ; and "Off-Road", if you are looking to ride mostly over highly-technical off-road conditions. To know in which category is each program, check the "Expected Terrain" column in the charts.

Tour length: Most of our clients want to know the country from the “saddle of a motorcycle”.  Peru is such a big country offering so much to see and experience, that condensing it all in one trip is not an easy task. With this in mind we have prepared pograms that last from 7 to 12 days, and more. Check our “long term tour overview chart” to have the summarized information of each program and a convenient comparison of all of the long term tour options available. After checking all the available program options you still think you would like to spend more time in Peru, or would like to add more destinations to a specific program, just let us know and we will make a “custom tour” for you.

If you plan to visit Peru for a short time or are already a resident, you probably are looking for a short term tour, so please check our “short term tour overview chart”. Here you will find the summarized information and comparison of all the short term tours available. We have prepared 1to 3-day tours near Lima, where in just a short ride you will be out of the city into a different world. Tour price: Price is frequently a decisive element in any tour decision. We have a variety of prices to choose from so please consult with us the prices of our different programs. Now if you plan to form a group of at least 6 participants you will automatically get a 5% discount on any of our tour prices.

Tour date: After you have these three first basic points decided you need to check our "long term tour dates & prices chart" and see if there are any tour departures listed that match the date and program you are looking for. If you see a tour departure that matches and there is still availability, then all you need to do is let us know that you want to participate in this particular tour departure and we will reserve a place and bike for you. If you don’t find a tour departure that matches the date and program you are looking for, then let us know and we will open a new departure date for the program that you want, letting other riders know about this new date.

Custom tours:

If you don’t find what you are exactly looking for and your party has 6 or more participants (riders and/or non riders), then just let us know and we will make the necessary adjustments to any program in order to better suit you.

Companions:

INCA MOTO ADVENTURES encourages and welcomes the participation of riders’ companions. For the non-riding participants who wish to join the group, special 4WD vehicles will be provided.

Minimum tour size:

Depending in the program, all tours will be conformed by a minimum number of participants, varying from 5 to 7 people, (riders and/or non-riders). If the minimum participation has not been completed 90 days before departure day, we will contact all booked participants to update them about the status of the tour and analyze possible options. If after checking all other possibilities the is no other than to postpone the tour, all reservation deposits, minus the transfer cost, will be refunded. To know if the minimum tour size has been completed, check the "status" column in the "long term tour dates & prices chart".  If it indicates CONFIRMED, then the minimum tour size has been completed. If the space is left blank, then the minimum tour size has not been completed.

Reservations:

It is never too soon to make your reservations. Early commitment will assure your position on the tour as well as allow INCA MOTO ADVENTURES to arrange the best possible accommodations and services promptly before the tour date. Tours have been canceled in the past because reservations arrived too late. In order to assure that your tour will go as scheduled, send your reservations in today!

Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• A 50% total tour price reservation deposit per person is required to hold your tour reservation.
  
• Balance will be due 60 days prior to departure date.
• In the event of a cancellation, you must notify INCA MOTO ADVENTURES in writing no less than 90 days prior to departure. There will be a US$100 cancellation fee, plus the remitting cost per person,  with the reservation balance being refundable.
• Cancellations made 90 to 30 days prior to departure date will result in the full retention of the reservation deposit.
• Cancellations received during a period of 30 days prior to departure date will result in the retention of 75% of the total tour price.
• There are no refunds once the tour has commenced.
• There are no refunds for unused services.
• All payments are in US dollars.

Motorcycle Deposit:

A US $500 deposit is required to cover possible motorcycle damages caused by the rider’s improper handling or by not following the tour guide’s recommendations. Deposits will be refunded at the end of the tour when the undamaged motorcycle is returned.

Conditions and Responsibility:

INCA MOTO ADVENTURES and/or their employees act only as agents for the tour participant traveling through land, boat, or airplane, and assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, and/or irregularity that may be caused either by reasons of defects in the vehicle or for any other reason while engaged in conveying the client, or carrying out the arrangements of the tour.

INCA MOTO ADVENTURES and/or their employees can accept no liability for losses, or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air, or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, or other causes. These expenses will have to be borne by the tour participants since tour rates provide arrangements only for the original tour scheduling. Any changes will divert tour expenses.

INCA MOTO ADVENTURES reserves its right to make any changes in the itinerary when deemed necessary, or when forced by unavoidable circumstances. The right is reserved to accept or decline, any persons as members of the tour. The tour guide will have the right to separate any participant who handles the vehicle improperly, does not follow the tour guide’s recommendations, or does not observe proper behavior during the development of the tour.
